Annual General Conference 2006
Dianne C. Smith, winner of the 2005 Council of the Federation Literacy Award from Prince Edward Island, was this year's keynote speaker. All in the room were moved to hear of Dianne's struggle to improve her education and graduate with her GED at the same time as her children.
This year, LVQ hosted the presentation of the 2006 Canada Post Literacy Awards (Quebec). Amongst the winners was Cheryl Hoyte of the Chateauguay Valley Literacy Council.
